''Muhlenbergia lindheimeri'' is a species of grass known by the common names big muhly and Lindheimer's muhly. It is native to North America, where it can be found in northern Mexico and Texas.〔(''Muhlenbergia lindheimeri''. ) Grass Manual Treatment.〕 It is also grown as an ornamental grass.〔(''Muhlenbergia lindheimeri''. ) Gardening in Arizona.〕 This species is a perennial grass forming clumps of erect stems up to 1.5 meters tall. The ligule may be up to 3.5 centimeters in length. The leaves are up to 55 centimeters long and are flat or folded.
